I decided I wanted to find a better use for this journal than rants on my life and memes, so here you go ;) Lately, I've been going back to an old story of mine (well not that old really, I worked on it last year and then left it at some point). I do that a lot bouncing back and forth between worlds and stories, making up something, mainly while biking to school or doing other non so cognitive things, and than I lose interest and pick up something else. Later, if the story was good, I might pick it up again and continue.
Same happened to this one.
The world it takes place, Agina, is 'divided' into three main empires. Land-walkers, who live on the main-land and have an imperium in food and nutritions, and are often in possession of supernatural powers. They are good buisnessman, and are said to be greedy, manipulating and mean, but that's mostly fear of their powers.
Than you have water-walkers, who mainly live on ships, islands, underwater-cities and upwater-cities. Waterwalkers have fiery tempers and are hard workers. They have a very advances technology, which they obviously need to survive at see all the time. Landwalkers call them stupid and untalented and undisciplined
Land and waterwalkers hold a constant grudge and where it not that they need each other and are scared of the consequences, they would most certainly be in constant war. They are on the edge of war as it is.
The last are airwalkers. They live in the air, mainly on huge airships with bases on both water- and land territory. They wisely keep out of the grudges between the others and live peaceful lives. They buy food and help from landwalkers and the needed technology from waterwalkers. Often they become scientists and philosophers and they are widely known as wise. There are some who have supernatural powers, but almost all of them are defensive rather than offensive. They only mingle withing the ranks of the others when strictly needed, avoiding them where possible. They think of the land- and waterwalkers as hotheads and dumb, unintellectual and not people you want to associate whith. The land- and waterwalkers think them strange and weak, air-heads who can't do anything useful, and they mostly just ignore them... Which is just what the airwalkers want, so at least everyone is happy in that respect.
Originally, all characters, air-, water- and landwalkers alike, had wings, whether they may be rudimentary or working (some do, and some don't work. I can imagine most air-walkers to have working wings, while those of water- and landwalkers don't work anymore).
The main story focuses strongly on Anyunna, or short, yunn. Yunn's the daughter of one of the highest officials among the waterwalkers. Her father had meant for her to marry some highly respected official and live save and sound in one of the underwater-cities. Instead, she ended up the youngest captain ever on one of the governments trading-ships (They are a combination between guard- and trade-ships) and falling in love with one of her (also female) lower officers. Her father still tries all things he can to get her away from the ship and to marry the man she had been promised to, but to no avail. With the sympathies of both her mother (a powerful woman if not in position definitely under the surface) and the emperor himself, Yunn is mostly save.
Yunn usually wears loose, easy, no nonsense clothing that's easy to work and walk around in, to the great horror of her father, who would like to see her in big, puffy, very tight dresses that the higher class ladies tend to wear. (think rainescanse)
She has wild hair in all shades of blond and red, from bright orange to gold-like blond and dark red and is quite tall for a girl. Years of living and working on a ship has given her quite a broad stance and a well-developed body.
This brings us to Lizz, the girl Yunn has fallen for. Lizz doesn't seem to have an identity, she's shy, a year younger than Yunn, and doesn't talk much, but when she sais something, it's definately worth listening to. Noone really knows of her past, but she is very able in the area of navigation and the like.
Lizz is small with almost boyish features. She has short, blueish black hair with silvery white stants that seem like stars. She wears non-describtand clothes and generally just doesn't stand out much.
Everyone can look forwarth to musings on my own and others' stories and characters here... ;)
Ok, I'm gonna add a note anyway. Took this from deviantart, from finnguala (go see her galary, it's amazing! http://finnguala.deviantart.com/).

1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you in.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I'll ask you something that i've always wondered about you.
8. you MUST put this into your journal (if you haven't already).

Altough the story is told from Yunns point of view, a lot of it centers around Lizz... She's an interesting character indeed, wich is basically why I didn't tell much about her. There's a lot to tell, you see... So I might actually write it down, specially if you guys keep pushing me ;)
It would be so nice if you could share a portion of your lovely daydreams with us!
Oh btw, the world has just gotten a religion ;) When I asked her how she was, my gf answerd 'I'm god' (instead of good:P), and with than, the realm of gods has been founded! ;)
